Jim started ACI Architectural Consultants, Inc. in 2000 after a career under the direction of Eugene Lawrence, the prominent architect who was instrumental in developing Palm Beach. His role as liaison with zoning and land use attorneys led him to develop a graphic and procedural system for architectural, engineering and land development firms to assist in navigating the complex legal arena that they were encountering. As an entrepreneur he started LEGAL graphicworks in tandem with his own architectural firm, ACI Architectural Consultants, Inc..

Biography

Jim Lucas is the President and CEO of both LEGAL graphicworks and ACI Architectural Consultants, Inc.. He studied at Delgado University and graduated in 1987. Combined with his natural ability to lead and aptitude for technology has led him to develop specification modules for leading software developers.

He has been involved with many of the firm’s projects and still is active in collaborating with the team. His varied and unique perspective on the field has helped him lead the firm successfully since its inception. His work has won several awards and been published in numerous magazines. Passionate about the community, Jim recently led a city effort to provide resources to residents in New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Ida. The ability to leverage his successes and professional expertise with the community and its residents has helped make ACI Architectural Consultants, Inc. the firm that it is today.
